Green Bean Spaghetti

Green Bean Spaghetti!!!

Totally a staple in my home!  I tried this recipe a while back.  I have to say I was a little skeptical.  I got the recipe from one of the accountability groups that I was in from another Beachbody Coach.  

I love spaghetti and this was a very clean, very healthy version that I could try so I thought why not?

A staple in my home!!  Great for nights I need a really quick dinner

Recipe
-1 lb ground turkey
-Organic low sugar spaghetti sauce
-Frozen package of green beans

Directions
-Cook up your ground turkey until browned
-Add Organic Spaghetti Sauce
-Let simmer for 5-10 minutes
 (You could always add olives, mushrooms, and onions)
-Heat up your green beans
-Place your green beans on your plate/bowl
-Put sauce over the top
-Top with Parmesan cheese/cottage cheese

-Enjoy!!!!

Egg White Oatmeal Bake

Oh my goodness!  These are seriously to die for and right up my alley!!  I love egg whites in my oatmeal so when I found this recipe I just knew I had to give it a try!!

This protien packed breakfast will seriously fuel your body for a killer workout and a great day!!!  

I made these on my prep day and can use them for breakfast for the entire week, I just doubled the recipe!!

Okay so here is the recipe!!

Ingredients
6-8 egg whites
1 cup oatmeal
2 packets of stevia
Splash of vanilla extract
Splash of coconut extract
Sprinkle of cinnamon
Blueberries and bananas on top!!

Directions
Preheat oven to 350*

In a blender mix all ingredients besides the blueberries and bananas on low until completely mixed.  (You can also just mix together with a spoon in a bowl.

Pour ingredients into a coconut oil greased pan.

Top with blueberries and bananas 

Bake for 13-15 minutes.

I pre-portioned and pre-baggied mine for easy grab and go breakfast!!!  Enjoy!!

Broccoli Slaw Italian Bake

Oh my goodness I cannot tell you how absolutely amazing this recipe is!  I discovered it a while back when I started the 21 day fix and was really craving lasagna and something new.  This totally hit the spot!

My kids totally dig this stuff, so it has become a staple in my home.  

I post this in a lot of my challenge groups and I find that a lot of people like to make it on prep Sunday and eat it through out the entire week.  It's a hit and I promise that your going to love it!!!


Broccoli Slaw Italian Bake

Ingredients

1lb Ground turkey
2 packages of Broccoli Slaw
1 15 oz container of Part Skim Ricotta Cheese
1 Egg
1 Cup Grated Parmesan
2 Cloves Garlic chopped
Himalayan sea salt
1 Tbs. Italian Seasoning

Directions

Preheat oven to 350*
Cook turkey in large pan with garlic and marinara sauce, when turkey is almost done you top with all the broccoli slaw and cover for 10 mins.
Stir and cook for 5 more minutes.
Add salt to taste
While Broccoli and Turkey are cooking
In a separate bowl, mis Ricotta, egg, 1/4 cup Parmesan and Italian seasoning, set aside
Spray a 9x13 baking dish with olive oil
Layer half the broccoli/turkey mix
Spread out the ricotta mix on the mix to create a middle
Top off with the other 1/2 of the broccoli/turkey mix
Top with remaining Parmesan cheese to create a crust.
Bake for 45 mins.
Let cool for 10 minutes
Enjoy
